"Spinn-off examples from scientific missions"
Many of innovations and technologies developed in the frame of space exploration missions or other scientific missions can be exploited on Earth and benefit many citizens. You can find here a very interesting article that will provide you with significant examples.
The second WG was held at Cité d'Espace in Toulouse (Midi-Pyrénées). Cité de l'espace (City of Space) is a theme park dedicated to promote and explain space exploration towards the broad public and especially young people (children and students). After the meeting the members of the WG had the opportunity to visit the Park and enjoyed exploring new space avenues.

The new NEREUS publication "Space Exploration Technologies and Exploratoria in the NEREUS regions"
The working group "Technologies from Space Exploration" has just published the latest NEREUS publication with examples and best-practices from our member regions in two areas:
- how innovations and technologies developed in the frame of space exploration could be exploited for the benefits of the European citizen (“SPIN OFF”),
- existing facilities / organization candidate to be part of the NEREUS Network of Exploratoria
The publication has been launched during the NEREUS seminar on Space Exploration in TORINO, 18-19 October 2011. More info on the Seminar and the speakers presentation can be found in the dedicated events & news page.
