Internship opportunities

The NEREUS Secretariat is the Brussels-based organization at the heart of the NEREUS network which coordinates its activities and provides communication and support to the members. Each year the Secretariat offers a remunerated internship for 6 months aimed at giving a recent graduate to gain experience in working for the network in Brussels.

Throughout the course of the internship, the intern will devote 50% of their time to a planned research activity related to one of the NEREUS Working Groups, and 50% to general support to the management of the NEREUS Secretariat. In addition, the internship allows the intern access to significant space-related events in the European Institutions and also to the broad variety of players within the network, across the working groups and in the Brussels regional network as a whole.

NEREUS is also a platform to support its young network community in finding internship experiences and offers its members (companies, research centres, institutions etc.) an arena to promote internship/traineeship opportunities across Europe.

Internship/Traineeship:

EURODYSSEE, the Assembly of European Regions (AER), offers 6 months traineeship (from 15 June-16 December 2011) on Geographic Information Systems and Remote Sensing of Environment in the Azores (Portugal). Candidates must be national citizens and official residents of one of the european regions listed here.
