Brittany region is the new co-chair of the Telecommunications WG. Mr Nicolas CHUBERRE, Thales Alenia Space, will co-chair the WG.

The kick-off meeting of the re-launched Telecommunications WG was held on 19 January 2012 at the Midi-Pyrénées Regional Council in Toulouse.

The discussion focused on the importance of the Telecommunications sector for the development of the NEREUS collaboration and on the necessity to stimulate an intensive regional cooperation between the involved actors within the WG activities. To this end the participants outlined a series of objectives and planned the next steps.
