GNSS and its impact on Regions – Kangaroo Breakfast (Brussels, BE)


Breakfast Debate organized by Kangaroo Group (Working Group SPACE AND SECURITY)

on Thursday, 25 March 2010, 08:00 to 09:30 hrs in the European Parliament in Brussels,

 

NEREUS-president Bénéteau jointly engaged with MEP Vladimir REMEK, Member of the European Parliament’s Committee for Industry, Research and Energy in a debate how Global Satellite Navigation effects life in regions: “GLOBAL NAVIGATION SATELLITE SYSTEM (GNSS) – IMPACT ON REGIONS”. Karl von WOGAU, Secretary General of the Kangaroo-Group chaired the meeting.

 

NEREUS and the Kangaroo-Group collaborate closely as regards the dialogue with the European Parliament.

 

The Breakfast Debate with the Kangaroo-Group was thematically in line with a number of events in order to position the NEREUS-Strategy Paper “A regional approach to the European Global Navigation Satellite System(GNSS) programme” and to establish NEREUS as an active stakeholder at political level with view to GNSS, especially Galileo and EGNOS.
