As NEREUS, we are proud to support the first Copernicus Hackathon which will take place in Italy, in one of our member regions: Veneto!

The program Copernicus Hackathon, funded by the European Commission, brings together developers, entrepreneurs and experts to develop new applications based on the use of data and on Earth observation services.

Copernicus Hackathon gives people across Europe the opportunity to meet and explore many applications here on Earth using data from space in an open and free of charge collected by the Copernicus satellites.

The first 10 local hackathons have been selected and you can apply for being an organizer for the next 10 ones in 2019: don’t miss this unique opportunity to spot the next generation of space entrepreneurs in action and boost the use of Copernicus data and Earth observation in Europe! Hackathon organisers are supported with up to 85% co-financing with a maximum value of EUR 20,000 by the European Commission.
