“Copernicus Marine for Outermost and Maritime Regions”, 6-7 June 2019, Azores, Portugal


In the frame of their Memorandum of Understanding, NEREUS and Mercator Ocean, together with the Azores Regional Government, organised an international conference on “Copernicus Marine for Outermost and Maritime Regions” on 6-7 June 2019 on the island of Fayal (Azores, Portugal).

 

The event is of interest to all maritime regions and was organized in two parts: (i) a first day focused on the challenges and expectations of public authorities on the potential of Copernicus for maritime authorities, in presence and with the advice of Copernicus Marine Environment Monitoring Service experts: download the presentations here.

 

and (ii) a second day was dedicated to a thematic hands-on technical training sessions on specific themes chosen by participants via an online questionnaire made available during the registration process: download the presentations here.
