‘Put the satellites in action’: Edusat platform webinar

University of Girona is one of the successful associate partners of the CorDiNet 2020-call to develop their proposals with the objective to expand the use of Copernicus and advance digitalisation.

Under the slogan “Put the satellites in action”, the EduSat self-learning web platform aims to bring the science of Remote Sensing closer to a non-specialized public. The images collected by the satellites can show environmental and territorial changes in almost real-time. Thanks to the resources offered by this website, students, teachers, researchers and citizens will learn to identify, monitor and analyse the changes in the earth’s surface produced by the global environmental change from images obtained by the satellites.

On November 19th took place a webinar to present the EduSat platform, a platform that contains didactic resources to make possible that teachers, students and citizens carry out all the steps to obtain images from the satellites autonomously.
The language of the webinar is Spanish (link).

NEREUS is responsible for the financial management of the additional activities of Copernicus-relays across Europe as well as integrating associate partners into the project activities to promote Copernicus.
