Info-session on EU-Global Action Initiative on Thursday 3 February (12:45 PM – 1:30 PM CET)


NEREUS organises a dedicated Info-Session focused on the Global Action on Space initiative (link) on Thursday 3 February (12:45 PM – 1:30 PM CET). Registration is mandatory (link). This initiative very relevant for the space enterprises, clusters, networks and aerospace districts in its network.

The initiative started end of last year and launched its first calls on 01. December 2022. In the nutshell, the initiative is about commercialising and promoting European space expertise and products outside Europe.

One of the calls is addressed to European SME and the other call to entities outside Europe. European SME are supported with their endeavour to do business outside Europe in different respects, education, matchmaking, business coaching, space diplomacy (i.e., outreach, meetings and events), market intelligence.


More background info

The EU Global Action on Space is a new initiative of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Defence Industry and Space (DG DEFIS), financed through the Foreign Partnership Instrument. It aims at globally promoting the socio-economic benefits that the EU Space Programme and its flagship components, Copernicus, Galileo and EGNOS have to offer. Moreover, it would increase cooperation, push forward digitalisation. NEREUS is a subcontractor of the successful consortium.
