Copernicus4regions presented at ESA’s Living Planet Symposium on 25-26 May


NEREUS together with the European Commission, and the European Space Agency, welcomed and updated the Copernicus4regions authors on the most recent tools and preliminary findings of the evolution of the Copernicus4regions user stories. The early breakfast meeting (08:00-08:30) was part of the ESA’s Living Planet Symposium, the biggest event on Earth observation’s role in building a sustainable future and a resilient society.

 

 

 

Moreover, the next day, Ms Ayazi, NEREUS Secretary-General,  presented how interregional best practice and knowledge sharing contributes to space capacity-building given the example of the Copernicus4regions initiative. Last but not least, she emphasized that the Copernicu4regions community is a living one making reference to the continuation of the initiative.
