On the day preceding the General Assembly, NEREUS brought together its members for a series of focused workshop sessions dedicated to fostering new project opportunities and strengthening political advocacy in the space domain. See here the full agenda (link).
Discussions explored interregional cooperation through initiatives such as the Interregional Innovation Investment (I3), capacity building and skills development, and INTERREG projects, alongside exchanges on best practices in the use of space data, including Copernicus applications and maritime cooperation. The day concluded with an advocacy dialogue engaging EU representatives and regional stakeholders on strengthening the voice of regions in European space policy, including exchanges with the European Parliament and the Committee of the Regions.
