The Italian Member of the European Parliament (MEP) and Vice President of the ITRE Committee, Giorgio Gori, follows the negotiations of the space package as shadow rapporteur. He will set out his views and political priorities for the package and give first-hand feedback from the current state of negotiations in the ITRE Committee.
Objectives:
These webinars aim at
- Presenting the views of the co-legislators (the European Parliament and the Council) and of the Committee of the Regions to gain a clearer understanding of the current state of play in the negotiations. What are political priorities? On which items are controversial views?
- Better understanding the scope and objectives of the EU Space Act, and how it will impact different stakeholders along the value chain and public authorities.
- Stimulating interaction and exchange of European stakeholders from relevant domains to exchange on their different viewpoints and perspectives.
