European Symposium 2026 -– Bologna, October 2026- B2G (Business-to-Government) matchmaking – Call for Challenges 15 June 2026

NEREUS in collaboration with Emilia-Romagna Region and ART-ER, is pleased to invite your Organization to take an active role in the upcoming 5th European Symposium by NEREUS Regions“Space Data powered by Data Valleys and AI Factories”, which will be held in Bologna on October 22-23, 2026.

One of the core sessions of the Symposium will be dedicated to B2G (Business-to-Government) matchmaking. To make this session effective, as anticipated in the recent General Assembly, we are collecting concrete “Challenges” from Public Administration NEREUS Members — real-world territorial needs that could be addressed through innovative space-based solutions and AI.

Challenge Owners may represent Regional Authorities (e.g., policy makers, data management departments) as well as Local Public Administrations, including provinces, cities, and municipalities.

Why submit a Challenge?

  • Targeted Innovation: Present your needs directly to a network of top-tier service providers and research excellence.
  • Strategic Matchmaking: Engage in dedicated networking to find actionable solutions for your Region.

How to participate: We kindly ask you to identify a specific challenge or need in your territory and describe it using our dedicated form. You do not need to provide a technical solution; your role is to define the problem and the expected impact.

Fill out the form here👉 https://forms.gle/73n2bECFmGi2sjqv7

Deadline: Please complete the form by Monday, June 15th, EoB.

Timeline & Process Over the next 5–6 weeks (up to the deadline), we will collect challenges submitted by Public Administrations (using the form). After June 15th, these challenges will be shared with all Nereus member regions to be disseminated across their service provider networks. Subsequently, we will begin accepting applications from potential solvers for the B2G meetings. A dedicated application form will be used to collect such candidacies from solution providers and will remain open until approximately mid-September.

To assist you in drafting your challenge, you will find a Sample Challenge and detailed guidelines within the form itself.

Our team is available to provide any further clarification or support you might need in defining your challenge. Please refer to: info.aerospace@art-er.it  and mchrysaki.nereus@euregions4space.com.
