Follow-up: European regions as Galileo and/or Copernicus users: EUSPA’s Pre-Commercial Procurement opportunity in the new Horizon Europe call (6th February, 9.30-11.00 CET)

NEREUS organised the follow-up event on the HORIZON Pre-commercial Procurement call ‘Strategic autonomy in developing, deploying and using global space-based infrastructures, services, applications and data’.

This webinar was a follow-up to the previous webinar ‘EUROPEAN REGIONS AS GALILEO AND/OR COPERNICUS USERS: EUSPA’S PRE-COMMERCIAL PROCUREMENT OPPORTUNITY IN THE NEW HORIZON EUROPE CALL’ and its goal was to review and wrap up the main elements of the former info session. Interested participants shared their questions/comments in a vivid discussion.

The objective of the call is -among others- to stimulate the public sector in Europe to use space downstream products, involving SMEs and midcaps, and support public stakeholders through specific funding tools, to develop, via pre-commercial procurement (PCP) innovative EGNSS and/or Copernicus based solutions. This infosession is addressed to all regional stakeholders (public/private sector, academia, etc) to better familiarize themselves with the objectives of the call, and join the discussion focused on the understanding of the public sector’s needs (demand) and the space-based solutions offered by the regional ecosystem (supply).

Target group: Public administration and authorities, universities, space clusters within and outside NEREUS, SMEs, companies, and all regional stakeholders interested in space businesses regarding the use of space technologies, etc.
